About

Sofia is the artist behind this blog. She lives in the U.K amongst a rugged landscape permeated with fields and forests, deepest lakes and magical sea coves, heather- covered hills and deep emerald glens, fast flowing rivers and wild beaches. Much of which inspires her work.

Sofia attended college and studied Art and Design and then Visual arts. Since leaving college she has continued with her passion for art and has had various commissions for Christmas cards, graphic design projects for charitable organisations and commercial branding for a small business, fine art pieces and her work can be found in homes in Canada, U.K, Europe and the U.S.A

Her passion for colour and texture have lead her on an exploration of how to combine colour and materials and shape and form and incorporate it into a body of mixed media abstracts. She continually challenges her own knowledge and abilities, always looking to progress and expand her skill set.

Sofia can be found in her art studio at all times of the day and night. As a self-confessed night-owl she gets all her best work done under the moon and stars. If she's not working, then she's cuddled up with her cats and most likely feeding her caffeine addiction!
